András Polgár

 

András Polgár is a researcher who uses fine art photography to make dawah.

In his projects, he focuses on the topics of transition and Muslim identity. Since January 2015, he has been concentrating primarily on the Archipelago of Indonesia, the most populous Muslim country on Earth.

 

He received grant from the National Cultural Fund of Hungary twice (in 2021, 2022) and he won the József Pécsi Photography Grant twice (in 2018, 2019).

In 2018 he was elected to the Nikon-Noor Academy Masterclass, mentored by Tanya Habjouqa.

His works have been exhibited in many places in Hungary, Spain, Ireland, Finland, Romania, Greece and in Cambodia.
